Coaches
Notification has been received from Glen Bowman, the South West Queensland Regional Development Officer that he can provide the following courseS for the Stanthorpe area this year.
Clubs are reminded that Football Australia has mandated that all appointed coaches for A-Grade, Ladies, Colts and Junior teams must hold a current coaching qualification.
Costs of courses: The Grass Roots level is free.
The Junior License course costs $125.
The Youth License course costs $165.
For this district the following are scheduled:
GRASS ROOTS level - Recommended as minimum requirement for all junior ‘leaders’ and coaches.
Duration - Three and a half hours
Date - Evening of Friday 28th May, 2010
JUNIOR LICENCE - Recommended as the minimum requirement for all coaches of Colts, Ladies and A Grade teams.
Duration - Sixteen hours over two days
Date - Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th May, 2010
YOUTH LICENCE - Recommended as the minimum requirement for all A Grade teams.
Duration - Twenty-four hours - two full daysand two evening sessions prior to dates below.
Date - TBA
Your Club needs to provide particulars of the people interested in participating in these courses by 15th May, 2010. A table is attached which will make this process easier foryou. Please return this information to Jaye Messina at your earliest convenience.
